Parade Tour Live Report

My live report of the Parade Tour 2012 is now up on Not Greatest Site.  Sorry it took so long.  Go have a read!  Feel free to post your comments here, but as always, keep them concise and constructive.

Also, it has been announced that Buck-Tick's fall hall tour with be called "Tour Yumemiru Uchuu."  The first round of fan club ticket reservations has already finished, but advanced reservations through the official site are now open.

Spaced Out in your Buck-Tick Dreams

After much anticipation, Buck-Tick have announced the title, release date, and tracklist for their new album. The Album in Question will be titled Yumemiru Uchuu ("Dreaming Space") and will be released on September 19th. The album will feature 11 original tracks, and as if that wasn't enough to get your fangirl knickers good and wet, the first press limited edition will also include a bonus DVD with footage from the soaking wet rainstorm show at the Hibiya Ongakudo on Jun 10th.  Sure sure, maybe 11 measly tracks is a short album considering some of their earlier odysseys, but cut them some slack, they're an indie band now.

The track list is as follows:
1. Elise no Tame ni -ROCK for Elise-
2. CLIMAX TOGETHER
3. LADY SKELETON
4. Ningyo - Mermaid-
5. Yumeji ("The Dreaming")
6. ONLY YOU -WE ARE NOT ALONE-
7. Kinjirareta Asobi -ADULT CHILDREN- ("Forbidden Playtime")
8. Yasou ("Nocturne")
9. INTER RAPTOR
10. MISS TAKE -I'm not miss take-
11. Yumemiru Uchuu -cosmix-

The bonus DVD track list is as follows:
1. Elise no Tame ni
2. Revolver
3. Shippuu no Blade Runner
4. Yumemiru Uchuu
5. My Fuckin' Valentine

I'd like to note that while replacing the letter "u" with the letter "a" is a very, very common mistake among Japanese second language speakers of English, with Imai, it's impossible to tell if the word choice "Inter Raptor" was deliberate or not. Does he mean "interruptor," like "rock-n-roll interruptor," like "rock-n-roll interceptor" redux? Or, is he really talking about raptors?

Personally I hope it's the latter, because I've been waiting many a year for the day when Buck-Tick gets Randall Munroe to do an album cover.

P.S. I apologize if the formatting is fucked up, the Blogger interface appears to be having issues with Chrome again.  If it pisses you off, tell Google that next time, it should make sure its fucking products climax together, not just separately.

Translators' Miss Take

Just a heads-up, the translations for "Miss Take" and "Only You" are up on Not Greatest Site, so go have a look.

Live reports of the Parade Tour in good time.

For people attending the shows tomorrow and Saturday: please remember, pushing is pointless.  Pushing really hard on the fan in front of you, even if you manage to break her bones, turn her to jelly, and thus squeeze past her toward the shoulder of the next fan to push on, will not get you close enough to the stage to touch Toll.  Toll is on a high platform out of your reach, no matter what you do.  Also, screaming "YAGAMI TOOOOOOLLL SAAAAAAN" fifteen million times in Cayce's ear may earn you a Guinness world record, but it won't earn you anyone's love.

Bearing that in mind, I urge you all to take deep breaths, and ask yourself, "what would Imai do?"

The answer is: he'd be more motionless and expressionless, the more he liked the music.  (He really enjoyed The Lowbrows.)

Enjoy the last two shows.

P.S. Imai wrote the lyrics to "Only You."  Really really.  First of all, Sakurai would never use the phrase "Only You" as a song title.  Second of all, Sakurai would never make a reference to "Born This WAy," intentional or not.  This is all Imai's work.  Not convinced?  Check NGS.
